What Is A Night with Janis Joplin Like?
A Night with Janis Joplin is a two-hour musical extravaganza featuring the music of Janis Joplin as well as the artists who influenced her. Mary Bridget Davies plays the iconic singer and does sweet justice to her signature wail, singing a slew of Joplin’s hits and telling stories from the singer’s life in Texas and beyond. Audiences will also be in for a treat with Davies’ back-up singers, who double as musicians like Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone and Bessie Smith. The night is a non-stop feast of powerful vocals and—yes—loud music!
Is A Night with Janis Joplin Good for Kids?
