BETRAYAL NEW YORK | BARRYMORE THEATRE

Betrayal, Harold Pinter’s award-winning play inspired by his own secret affair with BBC’s Joan Bakewell, conquers the Great White Way anew this fall! With previews starting on October 1, 2013 and with its grand opening set on November 3, 2013, Betrayal has a very limited 14-week engagement at the Barrymore Theatre until January 5, 2014.

In Betrayal, real-life couple Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz star as the husband (Robert) and the adulterous wife (Emma), who has a long-term affair with her husband’s best friend Jerry. Using the reverse chronology structure, Betrayal‘s innovative storytelling strips all the artifice away and makes all the layers of deception more stinging.

Betrayal starts previews at the Barrymore Theatre on October 1 (Tuesday) with performances at 8 PM from Mondays through Saturdays and special 2 PM matinees on Saturdays and certain Wednesdays. Starting its official opening week, with grand opening on November 3 (Sunday), the evening performances are at 7 PM every Tuesday and Thursday and at 8 PM every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, with 2 PM matinee shows every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
