Broadway’s biggest and most successful musical of 2011 is returning to Boston for a three-week spring run as part of its ongoing national tour. This is the nine-time Tony Award winning musical ‘The Book of Mormon’, playing at the Boston Opera House from April 1 to 27, 2014.

Expect nothing but clever hilarity and substantially entertaining parodies from this musical, a product of the vivid and comical minds of Trey Parker and Matt Stone of ‘South Park’ fame and the musical genius of the Tony Award winning composer of ‘Avenue Q’, Robert Lopez. ‘The Book of Mormon’ follows two Mormon missionaries on an evangelical mission to Uganda, carrying with them only their naivete, their faith, and the Book of Mormon, of which they know very little. And to that we say, good luck with that boys! Talk about pulling off a mission impossible.
Show times for ‘The Book of Mormon’ in Boston are at 7:30 PM from Tuesdays to Thursdays, 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 6:30 PM on Sundays. Matinee performances are at 2 PM on Saturdays and 1 PM on Sundays. The performance running time is 2 hours and 30 minutes with 1 intermission.
