Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez’s ‘Book of Mormon’, the major sweeper at the 2011 Tony Awards, returns to the Pantages Theatre for its 2013-2014 Broadway season. It is slated for a limited run in Los Angeles from January 21 to February 9, 2014.

A hilarious musical about two dim-witted Mormon boys sent out to Africa to convert the locals, ‘Book of Mormon’ impressed both fans and critics as demonstrated by its ongoing sold-out run at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre in Broadway and after taking home nine Tony Awards last summer including Best Musical. From the minds that brought us ‘South Park’ and the musical genius who helped propel ‘Avenue Q’ to critical acclaim, this musical is one of the rare theatrical productions that boasts of farce and satiric comedy and music, sometimes employing explicit language, that cleverly pokes fun at such sensitive social topics such as religion and race.

The performance running time is 2 hours and 30 minutes with 1 intermission.
