The Adrienne Arsht Center becomes Eva Duarte Peron’s stage with the 8-performance run of Evita in Miami as part of Broadway in Miami’s 2013-2014 season. Opening on May 27, 2014, Evita plays in Miami until June 1.

Evita is the blockbuster and award-winning Broadway musical that tells the extraordinary rags-to-riches tale of one of the most prominent and powerful Latin American women in world history. Ambitious, smart, cunning, and beautiful, Eva Duarte rose meteorically to power by becoming the Argentine Republic’s widely adored First Lady when she married Juan Peron. Known for her extensive charity work, Eva became known as a champion of the poor and has been widely revered as a saint-like figure even after her death.

Be captivated by Eva Peron as Evita plays The Adrienne Arsht Center on evenings of May 27 to 31 (Tuesday to Saturday) at 8 PM and on June 1 (Sunday) at 7 PM. The afternoon performances are at 2 PM on May 31 (Saturday) and at 1 Pm on June 1 (Sunday).
