ROMEO AND JULIET NEW YORK | RICHARD RODGERS THEATRE

William Shakespeare’s most celebrated and most unforgettable tale will conquer the Broadway stage once again starting this summer. Romeo and Juliet, the fascinating modern take on the classic story of two star-crossed lovers caught in the middle of their families’ bitter feud, is set to open at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on September 19, 2013, with previews staring on August 24, 2013.

Marking the much-anticipated Broadway debut of Hollywood star Orlando Bloom as Romeo, Romeo and Juliet returns to the Great White Way after 36 long years. A legendary play that explores the themes of prejudice, jealousy, betrayal, and love, the story of Juliet and Romeo proves that, given the chance, love can really conquer all.

Don’t miss the grand opening night of Romeo and Juliet at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on September 19 (Thursday) at 6:30 PM. The regular evening performances from Tuesdays through Saturdays are at 8 PM while the regular matinee presentations are at 2 PM on Saturdays and at 3 PM on Sundays.
