The Hobby Center’s Sarofim Hall in Houston will be home to War Horse, the phenomenal stage production inspired by Michael Morpurgo’s well-loved novel, from May 27, 2014 to June 1, 2014.

The stage adaptation of War Horse features the Handspring Puppet Company’s life-sized and realistic puppet horses. The story is set during the First World War when a young boy named Albert sets off to find and bring his horse, Joey, home after it was sold and shipped off to France to serve in the war. This creative and powerful play about being loyal, finding courage, and having real friendship will surely captivate the hearts of its Houston audiences as they journey with Albert and Joey.
